We need to confirm you’re 18 or older and that the name matches. Hold the back of your driver’s license or state ID up to the camera — we read the barcode, not a photo.

What happens to your ID

No photo or image of your ID is captured, uploaded, or stored — anywhere.
Your license or ID number is never read into our records. Neither is your address, height, weight, or eye color.
We keep only: the name on the document, your date of birth, the document type and issuing state, and the time it was checked.
The scan happens on your own phone. The barcode data is discarded the moment your age is confirmed.

ID verification is required before you can sign.
