Cheaper midweek

Tuesday – Wednesday $25 per thrower · best value. The quietest nights and the easiest to walk in.

Thursday – Sunday $30 per thrower · peak. Weekend lanes go first, so book ahead.

Tuesday nights $15 country line dance lesson. Add a 30 minute axe session for $10 more.

North County has plenty of places to hear country music and almost nowhere to actually learn it. Savannah teaches the steps from zero — slow, broken down, repeated — before the music comes up to tempo. No partner, no experience.

Lessons at 7pm, 8pm and 9pm every Tuesday

How much does it cost to book axe throwing in Oceanside?

$25 per thrower Tuesday through Wednesday and $30 per thrower Thursday through Sunday. One lane holds up to 4 throwers for 60 minutes and a safety briefing is included. Groups of 5 or more simply book additional lanes.

Do I need to book ahead or can I walk in?

Walk-ins are welcome whenever a lane is free, but there are only four lanes and weekends fill first. Booking is the only way to guarantee a lane. Online booking closes one hour before the session start time.

What is the minimum age for axe throwing?

Throwers must be 13 or older. Anyone under 18 needs a parent or guardian present. Every guest signs a waiver before throwing and closed-toe shoes are required — no sandals or slides.

How do I book axe throwing for a large group or party?

Each lane holds up to 4 throwers, so a party of 8 books two lanes and a party of 12 books three. All four lanes can be booked for the same time slot, which means large groups actually throw instead of taking turns watching. For party enquiries email info@chopscape.com.

When are the country line dance lessons?

Tuesday nights, with lessons at 7pm, 8pm and 9pm taught by Savannah. One $15 ticket covers every remaining lesson that night plus open practice time, so book the earliest slot you can make. No partner or experience needed.

What is your cancellation policy?

Bookings are paid in full at the time of booking and are non-refundable. You can cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours before your session. To claim store credit after cancelling, email info@chopscape.com within 72 hours of the cancellation.
