- No alcoholWe are not licensed, and nobody intoxicated or under the influence is permitted on site.
- Closed-toe shoes to throwNo Crocs, sandals or heels on the lanes. The room itself has no shoe rule.
- Everyone throwing signs a waiverUnder-18s need a parent or guardian, and 13 is the minimum age to throw.
- Normal cleanup is on usConfetti, piñatas and messy decor need the $50 cleaning fee. Undisclosed excess mess found afterwards is charged the same $50 to the card on file.
- Damage is on the person who bookedDamaged, lost or stolen items are billed to the card on file.

Party room FAQ
How much does the party room cost in Oceanside?
Two-hour blocks: $199 Tuesday to Thursday and $300 Friday to Sunday. Extra hours are $99 midweek and $119 at the weekend. Add-ons are selected at checkout.
How many people fit in the party room?
The room seats up to 25. If part of your group is throwing, four throwers fit on each of the four lanes, so 16 can throw at once while the rest are in the room.
Can we bring our own food and cake?
Yes. No catering minimum and no corkage. There is no kitchen on site, so bring food ready to serve. A cake and dessert table setup is $15.
Can we bring alcohol to the party room?
No. Chopscape is not licensed for alcohol, and nobody intoxicated or under the influence is permitted on site. Soft drinks are fine.
Do we have to do axe throwing to rent the room?
No. Plenty of bookings are the room on its own for showers, meetings, club nights and birthdays that have nothing to do with axes.
Can we add axe throwing to a party room booking?
Yes, through the party package: a two-hour room plus an hour of axe throwing for up to 10 guests, $299 Tuesday to Thursday and $449 Friday to Sunday, extra guests $20 each.
How far in advance do we need to book?
At least 72 hours. Same-day bookings are not available online. Weekend blocks fill first, so a couple of weeks ahead is safer for a Saturday.
Is there a cleaning fee?
Normal cleanup is included. Confetti, pinatas and messy decor need the $50 cleaning fee, selected at checkout. Undisclosed excess mess found afterwards is charged the same $50 to the card on file.
Can children use the party room?
Yes, the room has no minimum age. Axe throwing is 13 and up and under-18s must be with a parent or guardian, but the room itself is open to all ages.
Where is the party room and is there parking?
Chopscape is at 1906 Oceanside Blvd, Ste UV, Oceanside, CA 92054, about seven minutes from Carlsbad. Parking on site is free.
